    • I’ll introduce you to the space (in-person or virtual space)

    • We'll talk about your goals for our work together, the different tools we can use, and a little about logistics

    • You’re welcome to share about your life, challenges, experiences—but if it feels too overwhelming to talk about specifics you don’t need to share (there are lots of ways to support you without talking!)

    • We’ll make a plan going forward that takes into account your goals, schedule, and what feels like good support to you

  • Some common themes include: wanting support before / during / after difficult life transitions (birth, death, beginnings, endings) and / or creating care plans, wanting to feel more connected to the body, practice being in the present moment, boundaries, consent, caregiver burnout, increasing capacity for self care, loss of identity, chronic illness, desire to transform old patterns, medical trauma & difficult encounters with the medical system, collective & personal grief, patterns of fear and anxiety, feeling stuck and wanting to try a new type of support, physical or emotional pain.

  • All services are offered on a sliding scale—with sliding scale pricing, clients choose the amount they pay based on their financial situation.

From Alex J. Cunningfolk, “The sliding scale is a tool that allows for a product or service to be obtained at multiple price points based on the circumstances of the purchaser… [It] represents the idea that financial resources, including income, are not and should not be the only determining factor in whether or not someone can access services / care.”

The Green Bottle Method and this image from Ride Free Fearless Money are helpful images for how to choose the right amount on the sliding scale for you!

One-off sessions (somatics and / or doula support) are offered on a $50-$130 scale:

    • The standard rates are $80, $90, or $100 (clients choose an amount within this range if they are generall able to meet their needs financially).

    • The pay it forward rates are $110, $120, or $130 (clients choose an amount within this range if the standard rates are accessible and they are able to pay a higher rate to help balance out those who fall on the low end of the scale).

    • The accessibility rates are $50, $60, or $70 (clients choose an amount in this range if they often struggle to meet their needs financially, are on disability, or wouldn't be able to access this care otherwise).

Birth doula support packages are offered on a $1500-$2300 sliding scale:

    • The standard rates are $1800, $1900, $2000

    • The pay it forward rates are $2100, $2200, $2300

    • The accessibility rates are $1500, $1600, $1700

Miscarriage & abortion doula support offered as pay what you wish services.

Infertility / fertility doula support, death doula support, and medical doula support vary in pricing depending on what kind of support is requested—reach out for more information.

  • I do not take any forms of insurance. I do not provide a superbill. Some clients are able to use FSA / HSA cards or are able to get services partially or fully reimbursed—reach out to your insurance provider for more information (every insurance is different!).

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment please give 48 hours notice if possible. Appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice (including no call / no show) are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

    Updated February 2025

  • Some people have a clear starting point and ending point and work with me before / during / after a specific event (ie: birth, death, a medical procedure, etc.) or until they’ve met a certain goal. Our work is a shorter term addition to their care team and isn’t meant to be an ongoing thing. This is often the case with most doula clients and some somatic clients.

Others prefer more ongoing support—they may be working with chronic conditions or long-term challenges, or simply see this work as part of their regular self-care routine and appreciate having a regular rhythm to our meetings.

Everyone has their own unique needs and their own path—we’ll come up with a plan that feels best for you!

  • Doula support and somatic support are “unregulated industries” which means there’s no official licensing or credentialing—but there are lots of different trainings & certifications that help to shape my scope and the services I offer.

I am trained as a full spectrum doula and was formerly certified as a fertility awareness educator and sexual health educator. I am a certified TRE provider and an SEP-IT (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in training).

I provide non-medical, non-clinical support—I do not diagnose, prescribe or advise clients what to do medically. I am not a therapist and do not treat any mental health issues.

The information included on this website and in 1:1 sessions, group classes, and zines is meant for education and empowerment and is not medical advice.

See the about page for a full list of trainings & experience.

  • Pronounced “zeen” (like magazine), zines are self-published booklets that often include art, collage, poetry, education, personal experiences, or info that can be hard to find (like gender inclusive menstrual cycle education, for instance!). I started making zines in 2016 for my fertility awareness classes and never stopped! Here’s a fun article on the history of the zine and an article in the Cap Times about the zines I make.

  • They line the walls of my office, they’re draped over every surface, they serve as the background for all my zine photos. Not only do I think quilts are just about the most beautiful objects in the world, but they are the perfect metaphor for this work—when we listen to our bodies and ask for support it’s like taking all the tired, worn-out, broken pieces of ourselves and weaving them into something new, something comforting, something warm & inviting & safe. I hope that the support I offer helps you to feel all these things!
