The Pregnancy Acceptability Scale mini zine
The Pregnancy Acceptability Scale is a very useful tool! Although sometimes we think the desire to be pregnant is black & white (either someone definitely does or definitely does not want to be pregnant) for most people this decision is much more grey. This zine offers an alternative way to think about the decision to have children, how that might shift / change over time, and validates that this is a complicated decision for many people.
In a post-Roe world, it's critical that we understand the spectrum of the desire (and lack of desire) to become and stay pregnant. In this zine, Ashley introduces and navigates those nuances beautifully. —Devon
For many people, pregnancy is a complex topic which is rarely as simple as “Yes I want this” or “No I don’t want this.” That’s where the brilliant pregnancy acceptability scale comes in handy, conveniently and succinctly put into zine form by Ashley Hartman Annis. The pregnancy acceptability scale is a tool that can alleviate the emotions and questions that come with the topic of pregnancy, can facilitate important conversations about pregnancy, and can help to clarify goals, wants, hopes, and desires. —@de_ziners
